Mr. González possesses considerable experience in corporate restructuring, leveraged finance and transaction advisory services. During his tenure with Province, he has sourced and/or led restructuring engagements, on both the creditor and debtor side, across a wide variety of sectors including retail, healthcare, telecom/media/technology, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas and metals & mining. Mr. González co-manages Province’s Miami office and has been responsible throughout his career for developing new client relationships and managing all parties in transactions.

Mr. González has a diverse professional background, spanning restructuring, investment banking, sales & trading, transaction advisory and public accounting. As a member of the Emerging Markets Group (Fixed Income) at Credit Suisse in New York, he sourced and provided structured lending solutions ($35 million to $1 billion facilities) to middle-market/multinational corporations and foreign government agencies, for expansion and/or infrastructure projects, and presented investment theses to internal investment committees. He conducted financial due diligence on numerous cross-border M&A transactions as part of the Latin America Transaction Advisory Services team of Ernst & Young in Miami and was a generalist at Deloitte & Touche in Dallas. Mr. González professionally reads, writes and speaks English, Spanish, French and Portuguese and has been an avid volunteer in Southeast Asia. He has held prior non-profit board memberships with United Way Miami and CASA NYC.
