Stilian Morrison

Biography

Achieving success in both buy-side and sell-side positions, Mr. Morrison has a diverse background of professional experience in investing, restructuring and debt capital markets. He has evaluated and executed investment opportunities for a $4.5 billion fund focused on credit and special situations equity and has delivered on transactions involving over $30 billion in high-yield debt through phases of origination, credit approval and syndication. A driven and determined professional, Mr. Morrison has impacted complex restructuring negotiations by serving on both investment and credit committees. He is regularly chosen as an advisor to private equity firms, private and public investors, lenders and senior management on aspects of valuation, restructuring, liquidity management and strategic considerations. As an industry generalist, Mr. Morrison has acquired experience in a broad range of sectors including Automotive, Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals, Metals & Mining and Retail & Consumer Products.

Playing an integral role in Province’s growth, Mr. Morrison helped the firm build a strong foundation across the U.S. by assisting in its expansion into the Eastern and Southeastern markets. Prior to joining Province, Mr. Morrison was a member of H.I.G. Capital’s distressed debt and special situations investing team in Miami. Before joining H.I.G. Capital’s Bayside Group, he completed the investment banking analyst program with Deutsche Bank’s Leveraged Finance Group in New York.

Outside of the office, Mr. Morrison enjoys being on the water with Team Paradise Sailing, a non-profit organization that aims to inspire and empower disabled and underserved communities by providing recreational, educational and healing programs through the sport of sailing.
