Mr. Dong has considerable experience in distressed real estate assets. He has evaluated and executed investment opportunities for a private equity firm focused on distressed and value-add investment opportunities. Mr. Dong’s diverse transaction experience includes acquisition, recapitalization, partnership buyout, and capital raising. At a young age, Mr. Dong assisted his parents with the launch of a family business and subsequently helped manage it when he was just 18 years old.
Prior to joining Province, Mr. Dong served as an analyst at a real estate private-equity firm in Miami, where he supported the firm in all aspects of transactions involving acquisition and development of commercial real estate assets, including hotel, office, and retail. Prior to that, Mr. Dong co-founded Florida International University’s student-run investment club, Phoenician Investment Fund, and competed in National Investment Banking Competition & Conference (NIBC) at Vancouver, in which his team placed in the top 24 out of 250 teams from 70 universities across North America, Europe, and Asia.
