Mr. Laton brings a strong background in financial analysis and technical writing through his experience in equity research. He has experience covering both large- and small-cap equities, serving clients among the world’s largest hedge funds and asset managers. Derrick has produced numerous research reports (both single-stock and industry-wide) and financial models spanning several years of experience.
Prior to joining Province, Mr. Laton was an associate in Global Investment Research at Goldman Sachs & Co. covering the materials and industrials sectors. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Derrick was a supply chain manager at ExxonMobil, overseeing multiple chemical product flows across North America.
